02Getting to Animal Kingdom — By Resort

🚌Bus: direct service, shortest ride of any park commute. AKL is practically next door.
Caribbean Beach / Coronado Springs
Moderate distance · Bus ~15 min
🚌Bus: direct bus service. Budget about 15 minutes door to gate.
Contemporary / Polynesian / Grand Floridian / EPCOT-area Resorts
Farthest resorts · Bus 20–25 min
🚌Bus: longest commute. Monorail and Skyliner do NOT go to Animal Kingdom.
🗺️Animal Kingdom is the most remote park — no monorail, no Skyliner, no walking access. Bus is your only option from every resort.

AK opens earliest of all 4 parks — often 8am. Get there by 7am.

Head straight to Pandora — this is your biggest advantage of the day.

02Kilimanjaro Safaris: morning = most animal activity; hot afternoons they hide in shade.
03Pandora at night is a MUST — the bioluminescent landscape glows after dark.
04Flight of Passage single rider line can save 60+ min — but you won't sit together.
05Expedition Everest: front row for views, back row for intensity.
06Maharajah Jungle Trek & Gorilla Falls are walk-through animal exhibits with almost no wait.
07Rainforest Café is at the entrance but NOT a Disney restaurant — skip it for Tiffins or Satu'li.
